What if I don't have any
tools? |
|
It is not necessary to have your own tools in order to perform volunteer
work with The Ray of Hope Project. We will provide all of the
necessary equipment and tools required for the task you are assigned.
You may bring your own tools if you prefer to do so; however,
please note that your personal tools should be labeled clearly and that
Ray of Hope is not responsible for your tools if they are lost,
damaged, or stolen on one of our project sites.

What if I have no experience? |
|
It is not necessary to have
you to have any prior experience to perform volunteer work with The Ray
of Hope Project. We will provide experienced craftsmen to train
you in whatever task you are assigned. We welcome all volunteers no
matter what their skill level.

What is the difference
between Ray of Hope and Habitat for Humanity? |
|
The Ray of Hope Project
assists current homeowners with limited or no financial or physical
resources to get badly needed repairs performed. Habitat for
Humanity provides opportunities to first-time home buyers to be able
to purchase their own home, either newly built or totally rehabilitated.
In addition, Habitat's clients are required to invest sweat equity.
